Have you ever tried to use your computer and found it not obeying your commands? Have you tried to visit one of your own favorite websites only to discover when you will all live that commercial windows suddenly start popping up on your monitor? If so then you may be a victim of spyware.
Referring to spyware means that we are talking about secret programs that are installed or your computer without you being aware of their existence. There are a lot of ways that they can slip them into your computer without you having any clue that they are present, that is, until they choose to make their presence known. Then they usually will make you very miserable.
Also, just because you are not having any problems at the moment does not mean that you can relax if you are not currently running a strong anti-spyware program on your computer. A recent report has disclosed that nine out of 10 computers in the repair shop for various ailments or upgrades actually have spyware already installed on them. In many cases it was more than just one spyware program and on average if there was one spyware program there were a dozen.
Spyware can be a minor irritation or a major problem. When the problems are minor you may not experience anything other than your computer running slower than what you are used to enjoying. When they are major problems they can actually shut down your computer when the software does not function as the designer had originally intended. And, there’s no one for you to complain to either.
Pop up ads are one of the very irritating manifestations of spyware in your computer. Frequently the spyware will monitor the keyword phrases that you type into a search engine and then when you click enter they will show ads related to the words that you had just entered in the search engine. Sometimes they are separate pop-up ads in separate windows while other times they will mix themselves in amongst the results that the search engine produces for your search terms. In any case they are extremely time wasting and irritating.
Another danger from spyware is that it may contain what are referred to as Trojans. Trojans are programs that load themselves onto your computer and are not only aware of everything that you are typing into your computer but also have the ability to change the operation of your computer itself. For instance, they are sometimes considered to be practical jokes and people install them on someone else’s computer and then at various times the Trojan will open and close the CD drawer of the computer or pop funny pictures up on the screen at random. Unfortunately, they can also be used by strangers to spy on everything that you do.
These people that you never meet have evil intentions. Their desire is to spy on you and scan through your computer looking for important confidential information. Confidential information such as your credit card number or numbers and passwords to your banking accounts. Their intention is nothing less than taking you broke. You can be sure that if they gain access to your computer they will show you no mercy.
You do not have to be defenseless against spyware and it’s terrible consequences. At the very minimum consider installing a free program from Microsoft called Internet Defender which does an adequate job of protecting your computer. Or the other hand, considering the cost of your computer being invaded it often makes a lot of sense to spend $30 or $40 on commercial software designed to protect you from spyware. These programs are highly effective against not only protecting your computer from new spyware but the commercial applications also search your hard drive and remove any and all spyware programs that already exist there. Whatever you do just do something and do it quick.

It’s as easy as 1-2-3. First, you have to identify who those customers are. Second, you have to know what they’re actively looking for. Third, you have to develop a message and the right bait to get their attention and interest. The customers with the greatest potential for you represent your target market. You need to have enough clarity about this specific group of customers that you know their names. In fact, you want to list the top 10-100 prospects that you want to convert into customers.
When you know who you’re looking for it’s easier to attract them because you understand these people better than the competition. So instead of wasting your time sending them information or calling them to tell them about you and what you have to offer, prepare a message that resonates with them about what they want and what they need and why they aren’t getting that now. That won’t happen unless you do your homework.
That means you’ll have to do a little research to discover their top 3 concerns that they’re actively thinking about. This research is a little more involved than going to their website and reading about them, although if they have one you should certainly do that. You want to read, listen, and pay attention to what they do. When you have that knowledge you can develop a message that speaks to them about what they want and why they’re struggling to get it. Make it clear to them that you understand them, and that you have something they want.
You usually mess things up by having either no offer, or one they won’t take advantage of. It’s hopeless to just put your message out there and hope someone will contact you. That will never produce consistent or predictable leads for you.
Now that you’ve done the work, don’t sit back and hope for an action. Extend an offer they’ll have to take you up on so you get the most value from the time you’ve invested. You can think of this offer as the attraction mechanism or the bait that will get them to reach out to you.
Use the right bait for the right people. When your offer is nothing more than asking them to call you people know that’s an offer for a sales pitch, and people won’t volunteer to be sold. You can improve your offer by providing something that educates them about something they want or want to avoid. When they can request a free report there is much less risk involved to ask for the report than there is in asking for an appointment. This may seem like a lot of work on the upfront, but it will save you time and increase your results in the long run. And it will help you to consistently and predictably get the customers you want.

Is your computer driving you crazy today? After all that you have read about how quick computers are supposed to be are you constantly frustrated by the fact that it cannot even keep up with you? If you can relate to these things here are a few easy tricks you can use to make your computer run faster.
Here are five quick things that you can do easily to make your computer faster. They do not cost you any money. These are frequently the first things that the guy at the computer shop down the street would do if you ask him to make your computer faster. The big difference is that he would charge you $100 to do these things. You can do them for free.
If you have been using your computer for six to 12 months or even longer than the first thing you should do is locate the defragmentation program that came along with your computer. This is a built in program that you should run on a regular basis in order to make it easier for your hard drive to perform well. It will take the pieces of files that have been broken up and stored in a variety of locations or your hard drive and consolidate them into smaller areas. Because your computer does not have to work as hard to find all of these pieces it bus runs quicker.
After you defrag your hard drive, which is as easy as running any other program on your computer, the next thing you want to do is run your disk cleanup utility. This utility also comes along with the Windows operating system and is extremely easy to use. It simply examines your hard drive closely looking for bad sectors that your computer is tripping over and slowing it down. Repairing these bad sectors will make your computer a lot faster.
Surely you have heard of spyware programs and how they can slow your computer down to a crawl. Perhaps you have already suffered through this kind of computer agony. If not, you have been either very lucky or you are running one of the three or commercial anti-spyware programs available to us. You can use Microsoft’s free Internet defender program or you can step up your protection another level or two and by one of the online commercial programs which seem to work much more effectively. While these programs may cost you an additional $30 or $40 or even more if you have ever spoken with anyone who has suffered a from spyware programs or their computer they would tell you that if they had the money they would have spent hundreds or $1000 or more to get their computer back. Whatever you do just make sure that you do something to protect yourself against spyware programs.
The next thing you want to do is spend a little bit of time removing some of the thousands of unnecessary files that are stored or in your computer’s hard drive. Again there are programs that Microsoft packaged in your computer that will help speed this process for you. In addition you will want to go into your control panel and obtain a list of all of the programs that are running on your computer. You will find some programs that the manufacturer installed on your computer that are absolute garbage. Uninstall them. If you also find programs that you have installed but never used any more install them as well.
Another thing that you can do to make a massive difference in the speed of your computer is not free but it is relatively inexpensive. Check the instruction book that came with your computer and see if it is possible to add additional memory to your computer. I’ll most all modern computers do have additional capacity. Just do a little homework on the Internet and you will probably be surprised to find out how quick and easy it is for anyone that can use a screwdriver to add their own memory to their computer. Additional memory will probably cost you in the range of $50-$100 but it will make a tremendous speed difference in your computer.
These have been some of the more common things that you can do to make your computer run faster today. Several of these are routine maintenance of things that you should be going or in a regular basis in order to keep your computer running at its fastest. Do them every week or at least once a month and you will find that one a day to day and month to month basis your computer just runs quicker and keep you happier.

If your sales aren’t hot you may be frustrated and confused. You know the sales and marketing systems you’re using are working for others, but they aren’t working for you. How or why can that be? Because you’re reading this article I’m pretty confident that you have at least some experience and knowledge with eating. And that’s why I think you’ll be able to relate to the examples I’m going to use to convey my point even if you’ve never personally eaten chili. In case you don’t know what chili is, it’s a hot spicy soup.
Have you ever noticed that both you and your mother can follow the same recipe using the same ingredients and the same tools yet your chili doesn’t taste as good as her chili? Theoretically your soups should taste exactly the same, so why is it they don’t? Given the same recipe, the same ingredients, and the same tools to cook with the difference has to be in your techniques.
When you try to follow a sales or marketing system provided by someone else the same thing is true. Even though you have the exact same systems when you use these systems you don’t get the same results. The reason this is true is because there are subtle differences in your application of these systems and you aren’t even aware of those differences. These differences exist for scientific reasons. You’re born with natural behaviors and motivators. That means that you don’t see things, think about things, or respond to things the exact same way as the person or persons who created the systems your trying to follow.
That doesn’t make you wrong or the systems wrong. It does mean that you need to make adaptations in how you apply those systems so they better fit who you are naturally. When you do the application of those systems feels more comfortable for you, and they work much more effectively for you.
Another example comes from a chili cook off. Everyone is cooking the same thing but everyone has their own unique interpretation of the same dish. One version of the soup is selected as the winner. And there is a direct analogy to your insurance sales success.
Do you look like just another chili cook off entrant to your customers? The way you present yourself now looks like, sounds like, and feels like every other agent. The winner is the agent who knows how to present their service in a way that stands out. That will happen for you when you have a core marketing message and unique market position that attracts the interest and attention of the right people.
